"About our
business"
Jackson's
Jackson's Lodge and Log Cabin Village is located
on the eastern shore of Lake Wallace in the town of Canaan
Vermont. This relaxing getaway was originally known as " The
Marshall Camps" and offered fishermen and their families
some rest and relaxation while they enjoyed some of the best
trout fishing in all of New England.
The camps eventually became known as
Jackson's Lodge and Log Cabin Village when Elmont and Audrey
Jackson purchased and operated the facility as a "family
business" for close to three decades.
In the mid nineteen eighties Gloria "Jackson"Devost and
her husband Gerry purchased the property from Gloria's parents
and have been operating it since. The couple felt it was
appropriate that the name remain "Jackson's Lodge and Log
Cabin Village".
If you are looking for a relaxing getaway or a fun-filled family vacation, visit Jackson's Log Cabins to experience true Vermont living. The beautiful beach, the charming cabins and the peaceful life will all help to make this a vacation to remember.

Lake Wallace (Wallis)
Wallace Lake is located on the International
Boundary and it's area of six hundred acres is about equally
divided between Northeastern Vermont and the Province of Quebec.
Either a Vermont or a Quebec fishing license permits fishing from
a boat on any part of the lake.
This clear water mountain lake with it's clean shores is thirteen
hundred feet in altitude and is an ideal vacation spot for the
entire family.
"Jackson's has an excellent bathing beach that is safe for
children as it has no holes or drop offs. The beach's sandy
shoreline stretches the entire front of the property and offers
sun worshipers lots of room and privacy while soaking in the
sunshine.
